Does GTM support Inbound Integration for Item Qualification?

GTM XSD contains an "Item Qualification" section under ItemMaster XSD. But it appears to be for outbound xml only. Let's say if an external system already has component qualification status and needs to calculate Finished Good qualification status, can we send the BOM as well as Component qualification status as input to GTM so that GTM calculates for the finished good?
