Contract Search by text timing out after 100 records shown

Summary: We are using Contracts Search by text functionality in Production, and we have seen that every time the search results are only producing 100 rows of data. is it a current system limitation, or is it governed by some setup?

Is there a workaround available to get more data in the search results for Contracts Search by text option. Please let us know.
