Unable to setup lease if location is not available at BU

Summary:

As mentioned in document Manage Lease Accounting Configuration - Business Unit Not Available ( Doc ID 2737225.1 ), we are unable to setup leases if business unit does not have location attached in manage business units setup. We do not want to assign location at BU as it start defaulting in PO bill to location, which we want to keep blank. We would like to know if it is possible setup lease module without assigning location at BU?
