Summary:

Cross entities journals with different parent currency required. How to handle?

Note: Standard behavior for Translated Currency Input cannot help.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

Hi,

The Group hierarchy contains 5 level. Group consolidation and sub-group consolidation is required.

When preparing group consolidation journals, cross entities (Auditors request to put the journals to the individual entity so that they find easier to trace with) and ultimate holding currency adoption are required.

FCCS Translated currency input function copy the input currency to parent currency only if the input currency is same as parent currency. As the group hierarchy contains 5 levels, parent currency may not be same as the ultimate currency. Therefore, part of the journal is missed and TB is eventually imbalance.

Howdy, Stranger!
