Absence Entry validation should consider Payroll period dates

We want to implement an Absence Entry Validation FF, the requirement is to stop submitting the Absence outside of the Payroll period.

Is it possible to pull the payroll period dates into the Absence Validation FF? If anyone has written this logic please help.
