EPBCS needs both GL and AP integration for same account. Do we need some data transformation?

Summary:

There is a requirement as follows:

EPBCS will integrate with GL to take the balances for the Accounts, but 1 custom dimension does not exist as segment in GL. That exists as information in AP.

So to get the further split of that Account against the custom dimension, we need to integrate with AP.

While this is a common requirement we see from clients, I have always seen this done via custom integration. As both GL will give value for that account, but AP will give granular information, some data transformation in between needs to happen basis which the flat file for EPBCS gets generated and we load the same in EPM.
