Is it possible to reopen the last closed period in Fixed Assets Cloud?

edited Mar 8, 2024 9:34AM in Assets 3 comments

Summary:

I have seen on various sites that it could be possible to reopen the period (when if was mistakenly closed) in Oracle Cloud Fixed Assets, as long as there are not transactions in the current open period.

For example Can the Period Be Re-opened for Fixed Assets? (Doc ID 2163749.1)

Updated: May 2018

Release 13 Update 18A

New functionality introduced to re-open closed periods as long as there are no transactions performed or depreciation calculated during the newly opened period.

You can now re-open a recently closed depreciation period, as long as the current open period has no transaction activity.

But I simply can navigate to it? Is this a possibility still?

Howdy, Stranger!
