How do we deal with line level discounts against rate plans?

Summary:

CPQ allows the creation of line level discounts against rate plans on individual quotes i.e. the same item may have it's initial price defined by a rate plan or a rate card but this is discounted for a specific quote.

How is this dealt with in fusion pricing and then order management and subscription management?

We cannot use manual adjustments in subscriptions as those do not work at an appropriate level
