Oracle Recruiting Cloud - High Volume of External Career Site Candidate Source

Summary:

Out of the box ORC is able to track candidate source information. Ex: If a candidate clicks the link to our ORC external career site from our company website, ORC will capture our company website as the source. Similarly if a candidate is on Indeed and is directed to our ORC external career site indeed.com is captured as the source. While we see these coming through as candidate sources, there is a comparatively high volume of candidates sources marked as "external career site" - indicating that candidates are applying directly from our ORC external career site.

To find our ORC external career site a candidate would need to go to our company website or google us. But in either case the source should then be google or our company website not external career site. Maybe returning candidates have our ORC site bookmarked but thinking that would be a low volume. And I can see candidates that receive/click on job alerts through ORC being tagged with "job alert" in the source.

Howdy, Stranger!
