Debit Sign Journal Liability

We posted a Journal on a liability account in Debit. We have unexpected behaviour on reporting, because of switch sign.

I have this account: 34110000 - Retained earnings

From ERP I load liabilities without switching signs, so the sign of 34110000 - Retained earnings is minus (-)

I post a Journal on this account, Debit column. Debit is a decrease of a liability, so based on our signs convention we should see plus (+) = reduction of the liability. But we see minus (-) so an increase of the liability.
