Absence Planning for Managers - role & absence approval delegation

When delegating a role and absence approvals to another manager, the relevant direct reports do not show on their absence planning page.

We have enabled Absence Planning page in one of our test devs and created a scenario where a manager 'X' delegates their role and absence approvals to a manager 'Y'.

Manager 'Y' therefore has access to 'X's direct reports (in Existing Absences and other screens) however those employees do not show for them in the Absence Planning Page.

Please could you advise if this is expected behaviour? I'd think that once both role and approvals are delegated, Manager 'Y' should also see the relevant direct reports in the Absence Planning Page.
