Possible to default Distributed Costing to Position Costing rather than Suspense?

Summary:

Is it possible to default the distributed costing to position costing when there is an error rather than suspense? or have suspense default to position costing?

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

Our organization uses distributed costing to allow portions of e.g. FICA or employer-paid benefits like healthcare to be expensed in proportion to where the employee's earnings are costed. E.g. if an employee earns 50% of their wages from DeptA and 50% in DeptB, their healthcare benefit cost is similarly split 50/50 between the departments.

We set up a distributed costing object group to define what elements should drive this- as a simple example, if we had just Regular wages listed, and an employee's costs split 40% regular in DeptA, 10% PTO in DeptA, 50% Regular in DeptB then a supplemental bonus from DeptC, the healthcare would split 44% in DeptA and 56% in DeptB

Howdy, Stranger!
