New specialization not giving credit for previously completed component courses?

edited Mar 13, 2024 4:14PM in Learning 1 comment

Summary:

We have an induction specialisation that we need to update again, last done in Jan 2024.

The guidance from our implementation partners was that we should always close off 'old' specialisations and recreate them, and deal with any exceptions manually. If you don't re-create, you run the risk of completed learners not seeing new content.

I am 99% sure that if you have completed a course, if you are then added to a specialisation that contains that same course, the system recognises your existing completion of the "component" course. I've just repeated this in Test and low and behold, I'm credited for the sub-course, even if I duplicate the specialisation.

Howdy, Stranger!
