Using Destination Facility

in Warehouse Management 2 comments

We are configuring cross docking which requires the Destination Facility populated on the sales order header (we currently don't use this field). Just trying to gain some insight on how this field is commonly used. Is it discrete locations you ship to? What should I be considering when deciding what to populate this field with? If you're interfacing it from Oracle ERP what field are you using?
