Why does Donated Sick Leave balance not appear on administrative side?

Summary: We created a Donated Sick Leave absence plan using the below documentation. But we're running into a few problems:

How to return donated sick back to original donator?

Why does Balance not appear on administrative side? The balance appears for the employee in self-service (which is correct) and it shows up when the plan is selected, but the balance does not appear under Plan Participation.

How to update balance on admin side? We don't have an option to update the balance, other than Initiate Donation or Disburse Balance. When we select Update Balance Details, we don't an option to update the balance.
