Do we have to run Revenue Recognition in Receviables for getting Revenue Recognition in RMCS.

Summary:

Currently i have AR invoice with Revenue method attached as immediate. When i interface this invoice to RMCS it comes correctly with Performance obligation fully satisfied but when i run recognize revenue in RMCS it does nothing for this invoice. Revenue Recognition in the current period and distributed revenue shows 0. Do I have to Run revenue recognition in Receivables for this invoice to generate revenue recognition in RMCS.

I Understand that ASC606 is nothing to do with invoicing, but we are creating invoice only when the contingencies specified as per ASC606 are accomplished. So would like to recognize revenue out of this AR Invoice.
