Best practice documentation for managing Fusion Apps Scheduled Processes

edited Jun 7, 2024 9:25AM in HCM REST APIs 2 comments

Summary:

Where can I find Oracle's best practice documentation for managing the Scheduled Processes within Fusion Apps?

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

"Scheduled Processes" is available under the "Tools" menu section of Fusion Apps.

Should implementations be using service accounts or users accounts? What happens when that original user account is removed?

For recurring processes which run on a schedule, how to monitor their successful execution (which isn't logging in all the time and manually checking via the "Monitor Processes" web GUI screen)?

For recurring processes that have a mandatory end date, what do you set? Some Oracle blogs say +2 years from start, but what monitoring exists to ensure these processes don't silently finish at the end of the scheduled period and not execute again?

Howdy, Stranger!
