Poor Query Performance of CMP_ASG_SALARY_V
Summary: A simple query on this view runs 40+ minutes.
We are experiencing poor performance with the CMP_ASG_SALARY_V HCM view. When doing a simple SELECT statement with no WHERE clause, the query runs for 40+ minutes. We only have approximately 20,000 active employees. This is frustrating to our users.
We submitted an SR to Oracle but can not get them to do anything about it. It would seem that having the right indexes on appropriate underlying table columns or other performance best practices would be able to improve the performance.
Is anyone else encountering this challenge?
