Yearly Frequency using 1st period is turned on for current scenario

Summary:

We are using BegBalance to load data into the first period of our application. We get the following error below when consolidating. Has anyone encountered this as well?

A method called by the script failed on line: 8, with error: Consolidate / Translate cannot be performed. Yearly Frequency using 1st period is turned on for current scenario. We are not sure where to see where this is turned on.
