"Profiles - View" application role does not work as expected

Summary:

Hi

We have a group of business users called "Central Viewer" who is not a preparer or a reviewer, however needs to have oversight on the overall solution. We do not want to grant this group power user role however viewing certain objects such as profile and match type configuration is a must have. Here is what i have done so far :


All of our business users are by default granted "User" application role.

I have created a group called "Central Viewer" and assigned a test user to this group

I have granted this group "Profiles - View" and "Match Types - View" application roles
