Contract update or extension through quick action not creating record in Responsive UI Emp history

Summary:

Using the "Employment Contracts" quick action, we can update the existing contract record(edit button/pencil) icon.

Or we can extend the contract. Add button.

in both cases, we can see entry in the classic UI/Person management assignment history record.

but no record is recreated in Employment Info responsive UI>Employment History page.

If I do the contract extension through HSDL, where i need to pass the information of parents like Assignment>Worker Terms.

Then there is record getting created in Responsive UI page.

is there reason for this behavior? When classic UI page assignment history having the record, similarly there should be entry created in responsive UI employment history too right?
