How can I keep the manually entered book level prompt value?

Summary:

I have manually select values for book level Prompt. I then went to the report that I used for the book, changed a default value on one prompt, all of my other pre-selected value for the book prompt were changed to the default value. Is there a way that we can keep the manually selected prompt value stay unchanged?
