Absence overlap error when concurrency is enabled

Summary:

Hi Everyone,

Can someone please explain how the Absence concurrency works. We enabled concurrency on all the absence types. We got an are Ongoing Unpaid Absence type (EX: Intermittent FMLA) where employee have this absence for date range of 3 months and still be working and report other paid absences/hours worked on day to day basis

Now if we enter absence in below sequence no overlap error is coming.

Interim FMLA: 1/1/24- 3/31/24

PTO: 2/3/24

PTO: 3/1/24

Sick: 3/5/24

But If we enter the absence in the below sequence : we are getting overlap error till we delete all the absence except for the one last absence entry.
