Bulk Plan vs. Multistop Buy Shipment

Summary:

While planning a set of orders through a bulk plan, where the chosen parameter set does include 'fleet aware', the result is a single multi-stop shipment; as expected. However, when using the same parameter set in the multi-stop buy shipment action (shown below), the planning fails with the exception "Failed to pair any two shipments". The log file snipit shows that the multistop planning returned a pairable object though. Any guidance on what parameter(s) might be causing this to fail during the multi-stop buy shipment would be helpful.
