Regarding Assets

Hi Team,

We have a requirement where business has only one category I.e; category , then we have defined the same category as major and minor( for example major category as computer equipment’s and minor category computer equipment’s) but now each category has different life span example for computer category the life span is 5 years 8 years and 10 years . Our ask here is how to define these in the system

or

can we define major category as computer equipment’s minor category computer equipment’s_5years, computer category _ 10years and so on or is there any other alternative
