REST API Payload encryption

As per REST API documentations - "HCM REST APIs support SSL/TLS 1.3 version. TLS supports various methods of key exchange and data encryption, and authenticates message integrity."

Do customer have to perform anything to enable this feature? Also any documents with steps to deploy the keys for payload encryption would be helpful.
