Matrix Manager and Position Synchronization

Hello everyone,

We have created a new manager type "Leadership member" for Compensation. In the past we were only using 1 manager, "Line Manager" and we have the following Position Synchronization Configuration

I am just trying to understand what is the impact of the current position synchronization configuration to the new matrix manager type.

Is the matrix manager impacted by the position synchronization configuration and every time the ESS runs it impacts the new manager type as well?

I have already read in the 24A that we can add a matrix manager when we are using position synchronization, but I am not sure how this can be done.
