Summary: We are finding some discrepancies between the federal regulations about rounding 24-25 Pell awards and how SFP rounds 24-25 Pell Awards.

Here is what we are finding in SFP for a student that has a 24-25 SAI of 601 and their first year consists of a Fall and a Spring semester in the 24-25 year:

When the student is Full Time (100% Enrollment Intensity) in both terms, the yearly Pell award is $6,795. Divided by two terms is $3,397.50 per term. Pell is awarded as $3,398 (rounded up from $3,397.50) in Fall and $3,397 (rounded down from $3,397.50) in Spring.

When the student is Three Quarter Time (75% Enrollment Intensity) in both terms, the yearly Pell award of $5,096.25. Divided by two terms is $2,548.13 per term. Pell is awarded as $2,548 (rounded
