Pattern based condition using Expression language (EL) in Page Composer

Summary:

We have requirement to hide some field on the billing page if the customer name starts with some pattern (for example: 'ABC'). Is there any function we can use in EL to match a string (for example similar to LIKE or SUBSTR or INSTR or STARTSWITH etc).
