Custom font not included in maintenance snapshot?

Summary:

Hi All,

For our customer we download a maintenance snapshot to a remote desktop on a daily basis. As they now had to use the locally saved snap, they indicate that the custom font which was loaded via true font type is not included in the backup.

Upon investigating the content of a standard maintenance snapshot I could find in Oracle docs that "Files that were uploaded to the environment" are not included in the backup. Does that mean that custom fonts that are loaded to the apps are by default not included? This would make no sense in my opinion. Although I see "Application settings" listed (where the font are loaded), when I dissect a real life example of a maintenance snap. Then again, the font itself is not mentioned when checking the Application Setting.
