How do I limit workers API call to only return workrelationship and assignment for an employee?

Summary:

Our call is returning multiple results for a specific employee, as they were a "pending" worker which is inactive, and an employee which is active.

How do I limit workers API call in postman to only return AssignmentType = E and/or AssignmentStatusType = ACTIVE?

We have tried to add q=PersonNumber=###### AND workRelationships.assignments.AssignmentType='E' but it still returns multiple rows.
