Report on Active/non active Employees

How can we fetch a report on active/non-active employees in periods, that is, a listing of workers that were active between two dates, regardless of whether they are Employees, Contingent Workers (who wouldn’t have Payroll), etc? For example: “Give me a listing of all people actively employed by **** between 1/1/2023 and 6/30/2023.” The report would show their hire date, term date, manager, person #, etc.
