Spreadsheet loader - Person name updates

Summary:

Hello all, I need a method to bulk update/correct Person first names.

Our organisation insists on when a person leaves employment; should they ever return a new person record must be created (not a new work relationship on the existing person record). This presents many problems for us not least the following example.

We have a School leaving the LA (and therefore terminating on Fusion) and the next day they come back into our system under a different LDG and Business unit). The hire loader will fail because the person record already exists. So far the only way we have found to defeat this is to load with a different first name, and then when they are hired we corrected the First name manually. The problem this time is there are a few hundred.
