The Impact of assigning specific Business Unit (One out of many) to a Item Master Org

Summary:

Client has multi-BU org structure with multiple BU's, LE's and Ledgers.

In Accounts Receivables, we want to derive the Product code on Revenue account segment based on the item selected on the Invoice.

We want to default the product segment based on the sales account assigned to each item. But as the Item Master Org does not have any Business Unit assigned, system is not allowing to assign the sales account at Item Master Org level.

Note: Once we assign any management BU on the item master, we are able to setup the Sales Account on the Item Master Org level
