Unpublished/Inactive Hierarchy is still available in Smartview

Summary:

I have 2 questions in the same area relating to unpublished / inactive hierarchies:

1. We used to be able to deactivate a Hierarchy and that would mean it was not available to user in the smartview member selection lov or in GL Account Inspector dimension value.

This no longer seems to be the case and Inactive / Unpublished hierarchies are still available to users to select.

The workaround is to delete them altogether.

Is this the intended functionality?

What is the purpose of Unpublished or Inactive is that is the case?

2. We deactivated a Hierarchy (But left it Published) and found the above problem . So we deleted it.
