Requirement to Perform Year End Activities in SEP month Instead of DEC as last month of Calendar

Summary:

Due to rebranding of company, they going to change legal entity and BU name, as a cut off is October, business willing to perform the year end activities in SEP period instead of DEC period which is define last month of the calendar and October onward they want to capture all new transaction in update BU and entity. Could you please help to know is the possible to perform the year in the middle of year and want action we have perform to achieve it.
