Read only access to data model

Summary:

We want to provide read only access to data model for some key BIP reports, to our Internal audit team as they want to review the code behind key sox reports. We are trying to avoid copying the code for query as well as for parameters, as while doing so we might run into auto saving the query if we keep it open for long which would show a new modified date and could lead to an audit issue. Is there a better way to provide IA team with this information if read only access to DM is not possible.
