Approve Absence when Time card is approved but absence was submitted via absence module

Summary:

I have looked over Time Consumer Sets documentation: . I have also done some testing but hasn't rendered successful. We have our Absence Approval Routing to use the "Time approval rules" and it states that it uses the time card approval tasks to approve all time card entries, including absences. However, it doesn't go into more specifics.

Does it not handle absences submitted in absence module, but the absence is only read only on the time card? In other words, is the approval of absences only valid when the absence is entered on the timecard and not via absence module?

Howdy, Stranger!
