Only Asset Category field under Purchasing Tab should be editable

Hello Experts

There is requirement to have user able to edit ONLY Asset Category under purchasing Tab.

I know I can use Item Security Action "Maintain Item Purchasing Group". But this will provide access to remaining field as well.

Please suggest how we can achieve this
