Our customer using EBS uses the periodic average cost method. Along with the "Fusion Cloud" transition project, it also wants to monitor its inventory and production on a project basis.
In periodic average cost management, the project code cannot be used in the valuation unit. Additionally, the Cost collector cannot transfer costs to projects until the costing process is completed at the end of the period because periodic costing is used.
How can they use the project driven supply chain with the periodic cost method, by transferring costs to project financials or not?
