Can we have help text for the LOV's?

Summary:

Hi Team,

If there is a LOV field with 2 values, can we have help text for the values? for example when we add description to the lookups can that be used as help text?

LOV Field Name: Letters

Values: ABC,XYZ

Can I have help text for ABC and XYZ, when I hower on the values the help text should be displayed. Is this possible
