Native Mode To Standard Mode

Summary: We are planning on updating our PBC pods to standard mode this year. For others who have done this in the past what considerations should we make and what issues were encountered at go live. Other than existing smartforms being frozen in time and validating existing Ad Hocs function normally what needed to be updated. Also what surprises were discovered after the change was made in production?
