Need help on BOM to handle partial line amendment as well as bundle amendment
Summary:
Dear Team,
We have a product of software license where each QTY bought is assigned a unique serial number to track that license and each quantity can be amended/price change individually OR all qty bought together as a bundle can be amended together.
For e.g. If a cust has ordered 5 qty of license then currently BOM looks like below:-
- Root line
1.1 License with 5 qty and 5 serial numbers
1.2 Support Plan with 5 qty
When this BOM is fulfilled, it creates a Root Asset for amendment/subscription actions. 1.1 and 1.2 assets do not allow for any asset actions as they are child lines. Also all 5 qty is clubbed in 1.1 line so how do we amend 2 out of 5 license qty in this case.
