Restrict RMA creation for Non-Terminable Subscription Items
Summary:
During RMA creation Order Management considers ‘Returnable’ flag of item only if it is ‘Inventory Item’ and ‘Shippable’. An RMA can be created for non-returnable item having ‘Returnable’ flag as “No” if it is non-inventory and non-shippable.
From 23B onwards it enables Subscription creation from Order Management, likewise termination is allowed through an RMA order. The subscription items being non-inventory and non-shippable, and if they are marked as non-returnable it allows to create RMA to terminate the Subscription. The RMA creation should be restricted for non-terminable subscription items.
This restriction should be for all subscription items having ‘Sales Product Type’ as “Subscription”, “Extended Warranty”, “Preventive Maintenance”, “Service Level Agreement” and “Software Maintenance”.
