CX Extension Generator versus Pages created by application composer

Hi all,

I just saw some videos regarding this new feature:

Please can someone explain pros and cons against (normal) Pages generated by Application composer.

I am trying "to sell" this new feature, as it looks good in terms of look and feel and the VB tool to refine but for final users it seems the result is similar.

Any clue about advantages would be highly appreciated.
