How to link a customized login page to Oracle standard login page

We had a request to customize the log in screen for one of our clients. But because this is not supported by oracle yet, we created and customized a page to be used instead of the standard oracle log in page. How can we link our login page to oracle login page where the user would use the customized page to enter their username and password and then be redirected to oracle home page after clicking on submit (sign in)?
