Supply order via GOP is not reserving onhand quantities as expected

Use Case:
Onhand qty - 1000 kg
Open Requisition with date as 25 April- 500 Kg
Sales Order with request date as 26 April booked on 24 April - 2000 Kg
Lead time- 2 days

GOP splits the SO Line as below
1-1: 1500 Kg → 1000 Onhand and 500 PR; goes in reservation error- Manual action required for complete 1500 Kg. Hence, 1000 Kg is not reserved even though onhand is available
1-2: 500 Kg → will go back to back buy flow as per Sourcing Rules

Issue:
1500 Kg → How will the user know that reservations has failed and they need to take manual action? Also, the reservation will not show correct scenario as 1000 Kg should ideally be reserved but it fails.
