Dynamic Period and Year selection in bulk set of reports

Hi,

My client has roughly 50 different reports combined into 10 different books. The reports contain several columns i.e.

3 prior months, current month (Actual, Budget & Variance), YTD (Actual, Budget & Variance), Full Year Forecast, Budget & Variance.

The prior months could be related to a prior financial year.

All these periods & years are driven by Planning Substitution variables which will be managed by the Administrator.

However, the clients request is to enable all users (+/-50) to be able to pull any reports/books for any month (not only the current month) at any time. We considered using prompts but since there are so many period/year combinations on a report, it results in too many prompts that will just frustrate the users.
