How to replace worker record
Hello,
I have a scenario as below:
Sr. No. | Action | Start Date | End Date | Department | Job | Position | Grade |

1 | Hire | 1-Jan-2023 | 31-Dec-2023 | Finance | Manager | Manager Finance | E1 |
2 | Position Synchronization | 1-Mar-2024 | 31-Dec-4712 | Finance | Manager | Manager Finance | F2 |
I want to promote the employee as Head of Finance from 01-Jan-2024 and this should become their new active record.
Currently when i enter the promotion, system automatically end dates the new record on 28-Feb-2024, but i want to replace the record on 01st March 2024 with 01-JAn-2024 record. Kindly guide how i can do this via UI.
