Does Labor Distribution allow modification of project segments?

Summary:

We can use cost collection flexfield to add additional filters and use custom value sets to validate project segments in Procurement, Payables etc. Haven't seen Labor Distribution as part of cost collection flexfield and wondering similar functionality exists for LD. We have a need to default certain project segment values in labor distribution.
